Purpose
Luxury Intelligence saves you hours of reading by curating the most relevant articles across four key sectors: AI & Strategy, Ecommerce & Retail Tech, Luxury & Consumer, and Jewellery Industry.
Every week, eight ranked articles are published to the web, delivered by email, and scripted into a podcast briefing — so you can read, skim, or listen depending on how your week is going.

Luxury Intelligence is a personal project — a weekly effort to surface the most signal-rich stories across luxury, ecommerce, AI, and jewellery: the four industries I work at the intersection of every day.
How It Works
Five stages transform ~53 live sources into your weekly intelligence brief.
We monitor ~53 RSS feeds from trusted industry publications across six source tiers — from global newswires to specialist jewellery trade press. A Tavily web-discovery layer runs in parallel to surface high-quality articles that fall outside the feed list.
Each article is deduped, classified into one of four categories using keyword and source heuristics, then pre-scored on recency, source weight, and keyword relevance. Source diversity guards prevent any single publication from dominating.
The top 100 candidates per category are passed to a reasoning model (o4-mini), which applies editorial judgement — originality, business materiality, timeliness — to select the final seven articles per category. A paywall filter ensures only articles with accessible full text are included in the email digest.
Selected articles receive concise AI-generated summaries from title and snippet only — no full-article scraping, no paywalled content. A separate two-stage process generates the weekly one-sentence insight: one model proposes four analytically distinct candidates; a second model judges and selects the most original and thought-provoking one.
The brief is published simultaneously to the web, delivered to subscribers by email, and scripted into a ~12–15 minute podcast briefing synthesised via ElevenLabs. A cover image is generated for each issue using a SceneDirector prompt pipeline designed to produce distinctive, non-generic editorial visuals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Luxury Intelligence?
Luxury Intelligence is a weekly curated digest covering AI & strategy, ecommerce & retail tech, luxury & consumer, and jewellery industry news. Each week, ~53 sources are monitored, hundreds of articles are ranked, and the most materially significant stories are summarised and published to the web, email, and podcast.
How are articles selected each week?
Selection runs through a two-stage pipeline: a deterministic pre-score based on recency, source tier, and keyword relevance filters the top 100 candidates per category; a reasoning model (Claude o4-mini) then applies editorial criteria — originality, business materiality, and timeliness — to select the final articles.
Are the article summaries AI-generated?
Yes. Summaries are generated by AI from article titles and snippets only — no full-article scraping. They are quality-checked through the same multi-stage ranking pipeline. Always read the original article for complete context.
How can I receive the weekly digest by email?
Subscribe at luxury-intel.com/subscribe. Free subscribers receive the weekly web digest; supporters receive the full email edition with deeper summaries.
Is a podcast version available?
Yes. Each week a ~12–15 minute podcast edition is generated via ElevenLabs TTS and embedded directly on the digest page. It covers the top stories across all four categories.
Which industries does the digest cover?
Four categories: AI & Strategy (enterprise and consumer AI developments), Ecommerce & Retail Tech (digital commerce, DTC, retail innovation), Luxury & Consumer (fashion, luxury brands, consumer trends), and Jewellery Industry (trade, market moves, brand strategy).
Transparency & Disclaimer
AI-Assisted, Editor-Reviewed: Summaries are generated by AI from article titles and snippets, then quality-checked through our multi-stage ranking pipeline. Always read the original article for full context.
Not Investment or Business Advice: This digest is for informational purposes only. Articles and summaries are not intended as investment, legal, or business advice.
Source Selection: Sources are selected based on relevance, quality, and regular publication schedules. We monitor ~53 feeds across six source tiers and aim for diverse perspectives, though coverage is necessarily selective.
Editorial Pipeline: Article selection runs through deterministic pre-scoring (recency, source tier, keyword relevance) followed by LLM reranking using explicit editorial criteria — originality, business materiality, and timeliness. Category assignments use source-level heuristics and may occasionally be imprecise.
